Yoshoku was developed uniquely in Japan, by using Japanese seasonings to match with rice. It is loved by all generations and is enjoyed as a home-cooked meal as well as a special-day-dinner.
Grill Ninjin Co., Ltd. carries “spreading Japanese traditional Yoshoku culture from Kyoto to the world and contributing to the future of Japanese food culture” as a founding philosophy.
Due to the changes of the environment from COVID-19, runup of ingredient cost, and wage raise, restaurant industry in Japan is forced in a difficult situation.
Therefore, Grill Ninjin aims to obtain various customer segments by branding “Yoshoku,” food that have been passed down for generations, as one of the food cultures representing Japan.
Grill Ninjin believes the combination of "main dish + rice + pork miso soup" is the true Yoshoku.
For the main dish, there are various dishes including meat, fish, and gratin. The combination of rice and miso soup, the basic form of Japanese dish, in addition to the main dish, designed to be served with rice using Japanese seasonings, is the Yoshoku that Japan proudly presents to the world.
We hope to spread Yoshoku to the world and contribute to the future of Japanese food culture, as a long lasting Yoshoku restaurant representing Kyoto and also Japan.
